Blog still to come, but this tidbit just came across my desk...

Two big stories out of the Finnish newspaper, Iltalehi.

#1 Teppo Retiring.....The first is that Sabres Teppo Numminen has officially decided to retire. Teppo, who started with the Winnipeg Jets, definitely will be missed. It sounds like he simply couldn't muster up the energy with the medication needed to treat the heart ailment that kept him out of all but a single game last season.

#2 Foppa Returning?.. It sounds like Peter Forsberg is somewhat optimistic about a new treatment. The translation quotes Foppa as telling a Swedish News Agency "I and the (foot specialist), Bertil Romanus, have decided to try out yet another way... I do not want to tell precisely what it is, but we are equally determined to try once again."

back soon with my rumor roundup...
