Something Brewing?

This per a source who texted me WAAAAY too early on a Hockey Sunday in mid July. "Something brewing. major trade being worked out. NHL office alerted."

What could it be?

Is it Duchene to Columbus?

Matt Duchene was married yesterday, and the question is where he returns after his honeymoon? Columbus has NEVER given up on this quest despite some rather extreme mixed signals from Sakic...I have heard twice over the last 24 hours that there may be some movement here...

Is it Galchenyuk to the NY Islanders?

The Isles have appeared to shift all of their focus into Chucky....They know deeply how much they need to find a skilled player to go along with Tavares...

Speaking of getting married...

UFA Brooks Laich got married as well yesterday....and he married up to be sure...Brooks married Julianne Hough a Dancing with the Stars judge in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I have heard that Brooks would love to live near NY and NJ is interested...

Also...Jagr to the Flames (e4)

I am hearing Jagr and Calgary are very interested in working out a deal. One source told me that Ignla to Calgary was a not likely, but Jagr was 90%.

I will update today with any new news on what may be brewing!

for now...I guess coffee...
