Here are some questions from you all…apologize for the delay, but as you have seen, stuff's been happening

Nickmo2699 asks:
What's in the cards for the Stars? They are one team I have not heard very much on. With a handful of cap room and a guy who isnt afraid to take chances, I would expect to hear Nill and the Stars in on a lot of things.
Ek:
There is no question the Stars are trying to do what Arizona has managed to do so far..They very much want to re-vamp get more competitive. Nill is my favorite GM, and one of the few who I’d really trust as a fan…I’d keep an eye on Hamonic…

Cephalods Asks:
How deep is this years draft? At what point in the first round do the players drop off from guys likely to be top liners?
Ek:
The guy I trust the most on this great question is Russ Cohen, and he is of the belief this Draft is really deeper for longer than many…despite not having a generational talent..I believe you will get two starters with your two firsts…Some say this Draft is about 35 players deep.

Mobluesfan asks:
What the Ek are the Blues going to do!! It seems they are not involved in anything? The only name I have really heard is Kovalchuk.

Ek:
I hear ya…considering how this season went down and the loss of Shattenkirk I would have expected something more. I have heard they are talking to Vegas about a swapping first round picks…no real details yet..but I will post to the Rumor Tracker.

hdd23 asks:
What the Ek is up with the Ducks? Vatanen seems to be the odd man out, but with Theodore leaving, will they may stand pat? Are there rumblings for the Ducks to try and get a top 6 forward? Maybe efforts to get back into the first round for this year's draft?

Ek:
They believe they can find a way to keep Vats, but no one is taking details at this point. I really like the way they are building…The Preds got hot, but honestly I felt the Ducks were the best team in hockey out West…and maybe would have taken Pitt…

Sinisalo4vr asks:
What does Hextall have in store for the Flyers system?

Ek:
First off…HUGE PROPS for your name…Ilkka was one of my all-time favorites and it's sad we lost him this year… Hexy has always acted like he is a patient/calm GM and can wait forever…You and I grew up with Hexy and I don’t fully buy it. I give him credit for how he has handled it so far…but at some point he is going to have to be the warrior and the fighter we remember him as..and I think his breaking point will be the goalie…He loves the goalies in the system, but I got the sense he pretty much hated this Mason/Neuvirth Combo last year, and while he is “saying” he could bring back Mason…I am not really buying it.. I keep hearing he is making a play for MA Fleury…MAF went too easily to Vegas…the MAF I remember wanted assurances from the PENGUINS that they would make the right moves to compete for a Cup…and the Penguins were a decade ahead of where Vegas is now…I believe he went to Vegas knowing he was going elsewhere…and I think he knew it was Philly…

I am going to post these answers and then work on more answers to add to these…right after I update the Rumor Chart and Tracker… I will add more answers shortly…
