The Senators have signed Mike Hoffman to a four year deal that works out to a bit over 5 Million per.. The Sens continue to try very hard to trade for a some top 6 help on the scoring side of things.

The Red Wings have signed Mrazek to a two year deal around 4 Million per. The Wings have had discussions with Calgary about Jimmy Howard and I am expecting this will pick up these next few weeks.

The Arbitration hearing for Barrie is looming and you can likely expect a deal for Barrie to follow today I am told...The Avs do continue to listen to a lot of offers for Barrie however...
