A little break from rumors today as I am finalizing the Rumor Chart which goes live tomorrow.
Also, I really wanted to point to an incredible story written by Blues forward Scottie Upshall on the devastation in his hometown of Fort McMurray, and how it is still affecting his family today. Upshall is one of the truly great people in this sport and this article is a glimpse into that fact as well as a reminder of the great spirit of these Albertans who are dealing with a catastrophe on levels which most of us hope to never encounter.
Upshall tells of his brother's family's story which is still ongoing as well as recollecting the incredible story of the youth hockey team on which Scottie played that raised money to go to the big tournament in Quebec...a tournament they actually won against all odds.
