On Edmonton and Arizona

This would be a pretty big deal, but one of the rumors I was chasing late into the evening last night surrounded a possible deal between Edmonton and Arizona rumored to possibly send former first pick Nail Yakupov to the Coyotes for defenseman Zbynek Michalek, a TOP prospect and a conditional pick (based around re-signing Michalek long term).

Flyers looking for D help?

I am also starting to hear the Flyers are looking at acquiring a d-man and have also talked to Arizona, as well as Carolina and Winnipeg (once again regarding Dustin Byfuglien.)

Canadiens interest in Jiri Tlusty

There are at least two other rumors out there surrounding Montreal that I am checking into....one involves Montreal talking to Carolina regarding Jiri Tlusty...the other I can't talk about quite yet, but is somewhat similar.

Calls on Methot...

Ottawa is getting a ton of calls on pending UFA Marc Methot, but as of this point the focus is purely on keeping him and signing him to a long term extension. However, that could change.
