On Jeff Skinner...
He is going to be moved...which honestly I DO NOT get...but Carolina wants a new culture, I suppose...while giving up one of the few real proven scorers they have. Montreal WAS interested I am told, but Chucky was in that deal and is now enroute to Arizona....Calgary is leading the charge on Skinner, followed VERY closely by Philly, the Islanders, and Buffalo...
On Chicago and Carolina...
They have made quite a few trades over the last few years, but I am told Carolina feels like they were taken advantage of a bit in some of those deals...so Carolina may be more than a little gun shy when dealing with the Hawks...
On Carter Hutton and Jake Allen....
Hutton is a UFA, but they really liked what they saw in St Louis...and this is St. Louis...a team who has had issues in net for a while now, and may not let Hutton go so quickly...The Hurricanes and Isles REALLY like Hutton, as do I...I have also heard Allen could be headed to Carolina, NYI, or Buffalo...
