I have updated the Rumor Chart this morning... adding Savard, Niemi, Sharp, Gagne, Clowe, Burns, Bobby Ryan and Filatov...I updated Kovalchuk, Kaberle, and Asham...

A few Quick Hits...

*Rumors are everywhere in the last hour that the Bruins are working a package deal that would send Marc Savard and Blake Wheeler as a package to the Ottawa Senators. I have yet to hear what the return may be, but I can tell you the Flames are also interested in a similar package, while it appears the Leafs have turned their attention elsewhere.

*Responding to rumors in the last day or so that the NY Rangers, Leafs, and Kings have inquired about Simon Gagne, who could be dealt as early as today: I would be shocked if the Flyers would move Gagne within the division...especially to the Rangers. I am still hearing the Kings are the #1 option, and the Flames and Ducks may have interest.

* I am hearing the Leafs have had discussions with Philly, but not regarding Gagne.

* The Rangers are interested in Alexandre Frolov, and Ryan Johnson...

* Paul Kariya to the Penguins continues to look good..
