As I reported earlier in the week, there is a definite push by a few GMs to get business done sooner than later. Teams are talking a whole lot more than they usually do this far out from the deadline.

On Chris Stewart...

The Sabres included Stafford instead of Stewart in the Winnipeg deal because they are watching his stock rise a bit..Boston and Calgary are the two top contenders.

On Tyler Bozak...

The Leafs will have to cut Bozak loose for less than they want to get because the team most in need of a center is...themselves. However, Phoenix, Calgary, and even Montreal are possibilities...

On Michalek...

Detroit and Montreal may turn to Michalek...but only if the price falls and other pieces are gone..

On Kassian...

The Panthers and the Islanders are very which on Zack. Boston and NJ to a lesser extent. I think this is a deal we could see happen very soon.

On Santorelli...

The Rangers are in need of a spark in a big way and may opt for Santorelli according to quite a few folks I talk to...
