Radulov Signs Back In KHL. Used NHL as a Chip

There were certainly teams interested in Alexander Radulov, but he may have burned his last bridge. After talking to a team rep today out west I was told that the general feeling was that Radulov is afraid of the NHL but doesn't mind using the NHL as a bargaining chip in negotiations with the KHL. This is not a judgement on Radulov, after all players use other teams as chips all the time and we have often seen NHL players threaten to go play in the KHL....but this is just interesting to see it the other direction.

Radulov is one of the most talented players in the world and will be fun to watch in the World Cup in September, but many NHL people believe his commitment and dedication to the game isn't up the NHL standards. And yet there were teams considering it. For sure.
