The Coyotes have grabbed Gilbert Brûlé  off of re-entry waivers. Great move.

On James Neal...

In an amazing turn of events, the pens James Neal, skated in the game day skate a few short days afte being told he had a broken foot! It now turns out that an MRI revealed it to be just a bad bruise.... So Neal says he can go if needed tonight. Hockey players are truly amazing warriors!

On Parise..

Zach came out and said today in an article by Rich Chere that money matters in any new deal, but being on a Cup contender is the key to his new deal> Find the article HERE.

This comes amidst plenty of talk that Parise isn't thrilled with the current situation in NJ and hasn't been for some time. "Zach wants more playing time and to be the go to guy," a source said, "That has't happened since Kovalchuk arrived."

When a player under Lou Lamoriello comes out with a statement like this it is always intriguing to consider what Lou is thinking. Lamoriello is a player's GM, but expects, actually REQUIRES, all business to be handled out of the press. Former Devils have done this to almost a fault and have shown great loyalty to the organization.

However, at least one source told me "Lou is OK with this. The decision to sign Kovalchuk wasn't Lou's and he knows he likely can't afford Parise moving forward.

Teams interested change almost hourly...but LA, Toronto, Edmonton, Detroit, Washington, and Minnesota are the teams most often coming up in situations...
