Defenseman Colton Parayko was scheduled for an arbitration hearing on Thursday after the Blues submitted an offer in mid-$3 Million range earlier in the week and the blueliner's agent requested close to $5 Million on a one-year deal.

The two sides settled on Thursday, agreeing to a five-year, $26.5 Million contract extension, which buys years in which Parayko qualified for unrestricted free agency.
