To see the most current team speculation on all the possible trade-able players and some comments updated regularly, go to The Rumor Chart. Players are added and adjusted throughout the days as to what percentages I feel are their most likely destinations based on the hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, IMs and telegrams, courier pigeons, etc...I receive. Besides the players mentioned below, today I have already updated: Staal, Wideman, Zanon, Whitney, Sullivan Semin, Penner, Niemi, Moen, Kosititsyn, and Luongo. Updates coming today on Hudler, Suter and Jokinen...Plus

Quick Hits will be the norm this week..except when major stories break...

On Radulov....

According to various reports Radulov has decided to return to the KHL. Rads is actualy using the excuse that he is afraid of a labor stoppage...Not quite sure there, because if there were a labor stoppage Rads could always return to the KHL anyway. This is pretty shocking because, knowing many close to Radulov, he didn't sound like he wanted to return to the KHL ever again...especially following the plane crash disaster of a year ago...(which frankly scared more than a few KHLers) Radulov is more likely punting in fear of no team coming in with a strong offer. While there may not appear to be any team now blowing the doors down currently, you can bet your hat there would have been come July 1 or 2 when teams looking at Parise and Staal and the Nash get shut out...

On Jagr...
Darren Dreger is reporting today that Jagr loved his time in Philly but will test the market. This is what I was repeatedly warning against when reports surface he was close to signing a deal. It is very true several Flyers players, including Giroux, lobbied really hard in their exit meetings that the Flyers should bring back Jagr. Yet, at the end of the day, Jagr's skills over the year, beyond his ability to teach the "ways of being a superstar" to the young Flyers did diminish. Still not impossible that he signs in Philly, but I am quite sure the Flyers have as much to do with waiting past July 1 as Jagr does. Having the Cap space available gives the Flyers more room to play over the next few weeks. Who else has interest? Look for the same three teams left at the alter last year to ramp up a bit..Especially Detroit who wants to get more size up front...and always signs skill.

On Barret Jackman...
As expected Jackman won't test the market and has re-signed with the Blues...Langenbrunner could be next...

On Samuel Pahlsson...
Sami has decided to leave the NHL and return to play in his native Sweden..

Onto the Rumors...

On Pierre Parenteau...
The Islanders want to bring him back, and they have the money to do so, but I am hearing the Habs and Jets would love to be players for Parenteau...could be a great fit in Montreal..

On Ryan Smyth...
The Blackhawks are suddenly in play big time I am told...The Oilers offered a contract to Ryan back on June 8th, but made it known he would play a lesser role. Smyth has yet to sign. The Hawks are looking for an experienced guy to help the young stars along...playing the role Jagr played in Philly with Giroux...

On Jarrett Stoll...
Still hearng the Sabres and Preds but enter the Isles into this as well...Wild a distant fourth along with the Kings...

On Josh Harding...
Still hearing Josh's name associated with Tampa..despite the Lindback signing...however also hearing the Bruins have a strong interest in Harding as a possible backup for Rask.

On Rick Nash...
With five days to go until the draft, it's amazing how much blurrier this whole race is getting. San Jose is still my favorite, but Toronto is gaining momentum as is Boston...Incredible race we have...yet all these teams are saying the same thing...The Price is WAY too high. I guess it's pretty much a game of chicken then...

On Zach Parise...
We could see his rights moved on Thursday or Friday I am told. It really appears as if the Devils are gearing up for one more push before resorting to moving his rights for quite a handsome sum...moving rights is something the Devils rarely do, but realize they also don't have the top pending UFA's often either.

more to come...
