I have been chasing this rumor down since even before the Washington Capitals were eliminated from the playoffs, but it really appears that the Edmonton Oilers will be going very hard after defenseman Mike Green, widely considered the top d-man in the free agent market come July 1.
What do you think?
He is absolutely a risk, but he does bring experience and could be awesome leading what will surely be a potent Edmonton offense. And new Edmonton coach Todd McLellan has always liked him (see: many rumors of Green to SJ over the years).
