Crazy late night stuff, I will update more in the morning..but these two couldn't wait..

I have been asking around about the rumors out of St. Louis that the Blues are exploring trading Erik Johnson and I do believe this to be true, but along the level of Richards and Semin, albeit not as far along. In other words teams do explore these sorts of options internally and the Blues have a definite need to fill up front which a move like Erik Johnson + for Alex Semin could fix. Both teams would benefit from such a trade, but at this point Washington would be quicker to trade Semin than St. Louis would be Erik...

The Blues, this front office has a history of showing up to the dance, but never getting up from their table.

However, it is worth noting for sure, as these clues are part of the whole...

Also following two offers which my have been made to Columbus for Filatov...One by Montreal, and one by Nashville (who I am told would have to go much further being they are in the Jackets division.... Earlier this year the Caps were interested, but I am unable to find the interest now...it could still be there, but my sources are all saying Montreal and Nashville..

more to come...
