Wow, late night last night...

Nothing new on the Montreal front....yet.

Here is a quick update based on various sources this morning...

*There are two teams that are once again talking with the Leafs regarding Kaberle. One is the Canucks still, while the other is a "not yet to be named" new player from the Western Conference. Hope to have that name for you shortly.

*Kyle Wellwood will be returning to Vancouver this season. A deal is all but finalized.

*Maxim Afinogenov is down to Washington, Ottawa, and Nashville.

*The Predators have SERIOUS interest in Zherdev should the Rangers let him go, and feel as though a possible future combo of Zherdev and Radulov could bring much needed offense to Nashville.

* The Flyers are interested in Sykora and the Kings are very high on D-Man Randy Jones....

* Sykora is also a backup plan for Tampa should they not land Tanguay.

note to all internship applicants...unfortunately due to the passing of Burt the Dog last week I am just now getting back to going through and responding to the applicants. I was about 1/3rd the way through the 500plus applications received when everything hit last Thursday/Friday. I am amazed by the talent that is out there and really excited at how much better some of this talent could make our site in the 09-10 season to come. I will continue today going through the emails sent to me.

Also, I need some advice. When CAN WE GET A PUPPY? This house is so dark and the only thing that seems to lighten it up is when the talk of getting a new puppy is mentioned. We found one that we love, but I am worried that it is too soon. Any of you have any thoughts on this matter? I appreciate it!
