Yes, a few days ago I was told the Habs were looking into a Bold move....Now I am hearing Yakupov, who previously had asked out of Edmonton, may very well be that move. The Canadiens have been tracking Yakupov for years now....
How much would Yak cost?
There are mixed opinions on this one. Some really believe Yakupov's value is very low, but I continue to feel that there is more to his game and I have talked to enough other people around the NHL who are in agreement with me on that point.
So, I think the Habs could land Yakupov for a reasonable price, but to think there is NO market for the still young first overall pick is ridiculous...
