So far today I have updated Miller, Thomas, Cole, Michalek, Daley, Jagr, and Girardi on Eklund's Trade Rumor Chart
On Jonas Hiller...
Updated: While I have yet to ad Jonas Hiller to the Rumor Chart I continue to hear Edmonton is preparing to make a big deal in this direction. I don't have Hiller on the Rumor Chart because I can't see this happening now. At the draft perhaps, but only if the Ducks were to sign Ryan Miller...I do keep hearing that Ryan Miller is on their radar.
On Tim Thomas
Florida wants to keep him, but they may still move him at the deadline and bring him back in the summer. Pittsburgh is the team I keep hearing with the most interest. But were any contending team to lose their goalie prior to March 5th all bets are off.
On Erik Cole...
The Blackhawks and Sharks have interest should he become available.. The Hawks are also starting to show interest in....
On Jagr...
The Hawks aren't the only team keeping this option open. Colorado and Vancouver are also in the hunt...Detroit looks to be looking elsewhere at this point.
On Trevor Daley...
The Penguins are really showing a ton of interest, but they could battle their rival Philadelphia for Trevor Daley....
On Evgeny Kuznetsov...
The well-regarded 21-year-old Caps prospect announced today that he is leaving Traktor Chelyabinsk in Russia and heading to Washington to join the Capitals.
