On Cody Hodgson...
I am hearing he may be the #1 target for the Maple Leafs, who believe that Babcock and the OHL experienced crew in Toronto could get him back to the kind of can't miss prospect he once was. However, the Montreal Canadiens are also showing tons of interest and have liked Hodgson since he was in Vancouver. I heard they tried to trade for him when the Sabres picked him up.
On Martin Jones...
Shame you don't get frequent flyer miles for your rights....Martin Jones this week was traded from LA to Boston and then today back to San Jose.. Gotta love this from the Sharks and of course for the rivalry that is San Jose/LA.
On Johnny Oduya...
I am hearing the Kings may pass on Sekera and look to Oduya. Both players want big contracts, but one has definitely proven more to this point...
On Justin Williams...
I am hearing the Flyers now have interest in former Flyer Justin Williams (who still maintains a house by the Jersey shore by the way) Hextall of course is very familiar with Williams and there is a belief the Flyers need some veteran leadership in the room.
On Frolik...
The Flyers also like Frolik, and I did not realize that he and Jakub Voracek are from the same hometown....Montreal is still the favorite, but Philly could be in on Frolik.
