Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports that the lower body injury of Canadiens goalie Carey Price that flared up last Wednesday will keep the Hart and Vezina Trophy winner out for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Confirming what former HockeyBuzz blogger Howard Berger reported eariler today, it does seem like the Toronto Maple Leafs, despite their reputed mission to let Jonathan Bernier play his way out of his horrific slump, are considering waiving him or else trying to move him out in trade.
Said one NHL team exec: "Yeah I've heard it could go down. But I think you have to be careful about giving up too fast or selling too low on a goalie with his ability. Look at Edmonton with Dubnyk. Philly with Bobrovsky and then Columbus with Mason. They all got it back together when they moved on. Bernier can and probably will right his ship at some point. Does he need a change of scenery to do it? Maybe."
