Yes, sports fans, I agree. Trading Drew Doughty is legitimately insane. There is no way Doughty will be dealt. This dispute with the Kings is just business. Nothing else.

Doughty is irreplaceable. Dean Lombardi is a tough GM. But this will get done.

Kyle Turris, on the other hand, will be traded. That is an almost 100% certainty. Don Maloney doesn't play this sort of game. Just ask Blake Wheeler.

The Leafs are very interested in Turris, as are the LA Kings, Devils, Islanders, Canucks, etc.

Also hearing more talk of the Canadiens attempting to get themselves a quality D-man. Add the Habs to the list of teams who have inquired about Bryan McCabe, along with the Islanders, Canucks, and Jets.

Sergei Samsonov looks to be down to Red Wings and Penguins.

I got a text from a source on whether or not anything could go down today. I was told, "It has some interesting potential."
