I was attempting to get some sleep, but as they say..."sleep is for the..." well I don't really sleep. At this point I sort of snooze/nap.

Anyway, 2 quick updates as the NHL is most definitely shifting into trade deadline mode now. (I know this to be true because I am getting close to ten text messages between 2am and 5am.

* Gaborik's injury has caused the Rangers to really get serious, and I am told a deal is highly likely on Wednesday with either Florida (Booth or Horton), Edmonton (no name yet), Carolina (Whitney) or Colorado (Svatos/ Liles)

* Speaking of Whitney.. The Kings are definitely back in on Ray.
