The Dominos are falling my friends...

Larry Brooks of the NY Post is reporting: "Ales Kotalik has left the Rangers after being told that he would be traded, The Post has learned."

The Rangers are very much in the Kovalchuk Sweeps, but I am told Kotalik would not be in the Kovalchuk deal..."directly."

Darren Dreger is reporting: "complications have grounded a trade involving the Rangers Kotalik. A deal with Calgary? Stay tuned..."

UPDATED: source in Edmonton tellls me that Olli Jokinen could be headed to the NY Rangers. and there's more...

UPDATED 10:31 Now that Higgins isn't playing in an NHL game, it is safe to report that he is involved in this deal.

I am looking into this and will have more to add shortly to this blog...I was told and I do know that Kotalik was part of a deal for Phanuef prior to the Maple Leafs deal going down today.
