Last night we saw four OT games and honestly does it get any better? I suppose if you are a fan of the teams who lost last night it could, but if you are just a hockey fan without a horse in this race it really was hockey's version of perfection...
For as many OT games as we have seen in just the first 6 nights it is very surprising to see half of the series at 3-0. I can't remember a first round with that many possible sweeps...The big question is which of Chicago, Calgary, Minnesota, or Columbus has the best shot of extending the series to more than 4 games and do any of them have a legit shot at the miracle down 3-0 comeback?
Five Fun Facts...
*How good is Kevin Fiala? As much as Rinne has been fantastic and the Preds defense has made life miserable for the Hawks, Fiala has been everywhere for the Preds and given them something they have needed in past playoffs...Clutch scoring.
*When are people going to give Toronto some credit and not just say how lucky they are? The Caps could easily be in Chicago's spot right now...
*The Sens deserve more props as well. They continually are called 'overrated'....But coming down from 3-0 on the road in game 3 is no accident.
*The Ducks are a force. We all know the Flames have trouble against the Ducks, but the Ducks haven't lost a game in regulation since March 10th...They are the best team in hockey right now...and the Flames have actually played them VERY tough...
* No 3-1 lead has stuck in these playoffs...Last night the Leafs battled back from down 3-1 to win...the night before the Penguins did the same thing...
