The Flyers, Canadiens, Capitals, and Hurricanes all may have interest in Jay Bouwmeester. As I have reported over the past few days, it really sounds like the Flyers are attempting to move for a top D-man via trade...and they may be willing to give up a top 6 forward...or even two if that other D-man is Shea Weber... More on that later today.

On Brodeur...

Brodeur has stated he needs to know by July 1 what the Devils are doing with him. It is widely assumed that Brodeur will not be signing elsewhere and some are speculating to me this may be more about if the Devils are going to offer Brodeur a one-year deal to play hockey and some sort of other position in the future in the organization.

Brodeur also doesn't want to get in the way of Parise and some feel that may be weighing in on this.

I have heard at least two teams would have large amounts of interest in Brodeur for a year if he did become available...mainly, the San Jose Sharks.

On Wild...

They are gearing up for a huge push this summer and with good reason. This was a very good team early last year before injuries just ravaged them. They have cap space and the desire to spend it. They will be in on Suter and Parise for sure....

Sharks/BJ's talking pieces...

Hearing the Key pieces to a deal that could send Nash to San Jose are Pavelski and Niemi...Pavelski I could really see thriving in Columbus.

Calgary in on Jordan Staal?

If Calgary did managed to move the JayBo money they could absolutely be in on Jordan Staal.

Iginla?

Jarome will be moved only if he comes to Calgary and asks to be moved. Unlikely for now, but very curious if the Flames don't make certain moves at the draft and July 1 if things change.

Stay tuned for sure...
