Great work for everyone who pitched in and made their voices heard! Tampa in NBC has now committed to televising Game 1 tomorrow. Apparently you all really did some leg work..
I am chasing 3 different rumors, but the big one, and the one that just will not go away, is that the Flames are closing in on a trade that would send Phaneuf PLUS to Florida for Jay Bouwmeester's rights. I still wish I knew what the "PLUS" entailed to better judge this possibility, but I talked to a team today who was in the Jay Bo sweeps and told me that I can take them out of it and said to me...."He is going to Calgary for Phaneuf. That is what we were told."

And speaking of Twitter, Martin Havlat had some great words on his twitter account last night regarding his future. He tweeted "I want to tell everyone, right here, right now. There is nowhere else I want to be except Chicago. I would be honored to be a Blackhawk for the rest of my career. I love it here. I really hope it happens."
There is little doubt that Havlat in Chicago makes sense. He has been a huge part of this team's growth, and it would be a shame to see him go elsewhere just when the Hawks are hitting their stride.
The problem here is the cap and the amount of young stars on this team. The Hawks are going to have to make decisions. No question.
Both Khabibulin and Havlat have been added to the Rumour Chart...
