I was putting together my big list of the top 20 most biggest deadline prizes but have gotten sidetracked by two rumours....
Both appear to have major legs, and one may indeed happen in the next day or two,
The first one is Horcoff heading to Ottawa from Edmonton...of course the first question on your mind is what is on my mind...Who for? I have heard this from 4 sources in the last 12 hours and so far no one has given me the name going the other way, only to say that we know that Jason Spezza is liked by the Oilers and perhaps one of the Oilers goalies could be somehow involved....
The other trade I was told by an outstanding source out west and it is that Matthieu Schneider is going to be dealt to the Montreal Canadiens. "It is just a matter of when," the source said, noting that he was told it could be at any moment. If you ask me this makes ton of sense. Schneider is exactly what the Habs need right now..
