Tonight's game at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia between the Flyers and Senators takes a backseat to the tragedy that the entire hockey world is mourning: the death of Daron Richardson, the 14-year-old daughter of longtime Flyers defenseman and current Senators assistant coach, Luke Richardson.

Luke and Stephanie Richardson have put out a public request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health's youth program in memory of their daughter.

Please give what you can. It's the best way for all of us to show the family that we stand with them, and all who suffer the private and unspeakable pain that has touched others like Daron and her family.
