more rumours updated following a 1:00 pm meeting...

Sources tell me that tomorrow could be the day to look to when it comes to Brian Burke and the Maple Leafs. Many have speculated that Thursday will be the day...While other teams are rumoured to be possible destinations, all signs point very strongly to Toronto.

And don't be shocked if #13 joins Brian back in Toronto. Seriously.

Yesterday rumours were rampant as to a pending press conference that could occur as early as today involving Montreal as they are reportedly about to announce a "big signing." Word is unclear as to whether the pc will take place today, tomorrow or Thursday and as to whether or not we are talking about an extension or a UFA. As I have said previously, don't count out Shanahan in Montreal. I will continue to stay on top of this.

As for Shanahan in Philly...The Flyers latest winning ways combined with other teams getting involved looks to have muddied the waters considerably. I would say, based on my talks with various sources, there is far better chance that Shanny signs elsewhere than he signs in Philly.
