This Morning in Boston, as the Flames took their skate the head coach called them all to the center ice circle and read them the riot act about their performance...

Tonight the Flames responded by not even showing up in a 9-0 loss to the Cup Champs. As a good friend always says..."This was the kind of game that ends people's careers."

My phone has been ringing off the hook since about midway through the second period.

Some texts....

"The last straw. As I understand it the Flames are going to react harshly and swiftly tomorrow and one of the team's 'contingency plans they didn't want to resort to" will be put into action"

"The Flames are talking to the Caps and Penguins about a Significant player move that could go down any time from late tonight through the weekend'."

"Not sure Iggy will get another shot at 500 in the uniform...but it could be a coaching change instead. Also look for a goalie move."

What's the buzz?
