I am finishing up my blog on the Most desperate NHL Teams and this came across from three sources this morning.

One of them put it this way, "Gaborik is back in play and the NY Islanders, who have made plays for Sundin as late as two weeks ago, are now seriously talking about making a big play for Gaborik with the hopes of signing him long-term. However, the deal could go down even if he isn't signed long term...With the proper conditions."

more for sure.
