Danny Briere will NOT be returning until after the All-Star Game. That from a solid source. With the Flyers only having one game remaining (tomorrow night as home versus Atlanta) they will wait and let Briere get some more time.

However, that being said, I am still hearing that a Flyers trade, that could come as soon as today, may be in the works. I am hearing this from multiple sources.

One thing for certain. Briere will not be moved. They need his speed and clutch scoring. Especially in the playoffs where Danny has been money and led several of his teams of recent years to the Conference Finals.

I have my feelers out.

The Flyers have been scouting Tampa as well, and while I will say that I do not believe the Flyers are trading for Vinny today, I will say that if the Flyers want to they could make the deal. They do have the depth. A deal would have to be along the lines of Braydon Coburn, James vanRiemsdyk, Claude Giroux, and a pick or prospect.

Meanwhile I will be adding Peter Forsberg to The NHL Trade Rumor Chart later today. Colorado, Philly, Montreal and Chicago are possible destinations.
