And Leaf fans may want to be scouting a certain player on Team Canada.

Rumors have been circulating since last night, when on Hockey Night in Canada Pierre LeBrun stated the Leafs have an interesting offer for Versteeg. Today a few sources have informed me they believe the player the Leafs may be looking at is Brayden Schenn....

Schenn is quite the performer at the Junior level, but the experience and ring on Versteeg's finger is something lacking in the Kings room and something Lombardi would love to add.

The Leafs would have to put more into the deal, but we will see.
