* The Lightning and Hawks are keeping close tabs on Kimmo Timonen who will return to action on Saturday. Timonen has looked amazing in practice and would be a factor for a team in a long playoff run. The Flyers will keep him of course unless the offers are too intriguing.
* The Lightning, who REALLY wanted Sekera, are also talking Phoenix about Yandle, to Edmonton about Petry, and to Toronto about Gardiner...If Giordano's injury turns out to be serious they will be in on Petry as well.
*The Hawks appear to be closing in on Glencross.
