Another quick update. I am told that the Canucks are in discussion with the Panthers regarding a deal to bring Horton to Vancouver for a "defenseman and a top prospect."

Also as reported by Hockeybuzz.com's Mathew Barry, there is a STRONG rumor I can also confirm that would send Frolov to Chicago...

Per Barry: "Frolov to Chicago for Versteeg and Cam Barker. What has been holding it up is Chicago wants one of the Kings young D-man, and whomever that D-man is, Lombardi doesn’t want to part with."
