* Calgary is definitely a team to watch right now, and I keep hearing the Flames are talking to the NY Isles about Parenteau and the Lightning about Kubina. However, I must add that both of these rumors are on the small end according to a few sources who believe Calgary really wants to pull the big trigger and help their playoff chances with perhaps Derek Roy.

*The Flyers have been burned before by not having three goalies ready for the playoffs and there are rumors this afternoon that they are interested in Nabokov. Also heard Tampa could be in the mix. Would they once again look to the Isles for a goalie to try and salvage their season?

*The Red Wings are looking for some depth and also may be seeking a backup goalie. Heard they may have interest in Sanford out of Columbus...who has been very solid in this crazy year. Also heard an interesting rumor about the Wings making a pitch for Versteeg.

*Ray Whitney always seems to be a hot commodity come the deadline. Today I have heard the Sens and Preds are among the teams looking to the Yotes Whitney.
