Just got a text from a trusted source in Western Canada: The Los Angeles Kings and general manager Dean Lombardi are very much interested in Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien.
And the Kings are rumored to be offering the "most compensation to date" for Byfuglien.
Byfuglien, in the final year of his contract, has seven goals and 16 points in 26 games this year.
Stay tuned.
