Been quite the day here at hockeybuzz headquarters

With Quincey now gone, the defensive dominos continue to fall...and yet the logjam up front is completely getting ridiculous when it comes to trying to decipher the plethora of information I am getting these days. Really need to thank my sources who have been more helpful than in any year since I began doing this...

Let's get going...

* "Jonathan Bernier is going to be traded."
That's what I am I hearing at least....and the Leafs are actually the team who may be slightly ahead of the pack for his services as of now. There was a rumor flying around a few minutes ago that would see Grabovski (plus pick/player) heading to LA for Bernier and Penner (e2)
Other teams interested...Philly (e1), Columbus (e4), Chicago (e2)

On Travis Moen...
As of now LA(e3) and San Jose(e4) are the best bets, however the Blues(e4) (losing Langenbrunner today to injury) may be getting into this as well...
Other teams interested...Boston (e2)

On Marek Zidlicky
We have heard the Devils talk from way back, however I keep hearing other teams ahead of NJ. And my favorite for Marek may surprise you. Today a source in Winnipeg called me and told me he heard a deal could get done for Zidlicky and that currently it is just a matter of what conditions occur over the next week.

On Alex Semin
The thought process here is still Washington isn't likely to move Semin. However, over the last few hours I have heard "all bets are off" once again following the horrid loss the Caps suffered last night in Carolina. Most likely place I still have as Washington...however Detroit (e2) and Chicago could make things very interesting if Semin becomes available suddenly over the next few days.
Other teams interested...LA (e2)

Corey Perry and Teemu Selanne and Jason Blake...
The Ducks have almost made it all the way back into the race and that means they won't be entertaining offers for either star...the only player I hear the Ducks might move is Jason Blake if they can find defensive help.

On Curtis Sanford
I keep hearing the Hawks and Wings are in on Sanford, who has been very good at times for the Wings and would make for a great addition as a backup or insurance policy...Toronto also has looked into Sanford.

On Zach Parise
Word is Parise is not going to sign with anyone prior to July 1....and then there is a great chance he signs in LA. So it looks like the Devils are going to try and get every last point and shift they can from Parise for now...

On Andrei Kostitsyn
If management changes in Montreal it is quite possible that Andrei returns to Montreal, but for now he will be dealt. And along with him comes a guy who produces goals and quietly could be the "get"of the deadline. Many are saying Kostitsyn will be the next domino after Carter and Nash to fall up front.
Other teams interested...Florida(e3),Nashville (e3), NJ (e3), Colorado (e2), Minnesota (e2)

On Mason Raymond
The big question mark with Mason may be Sidney Crosby's health. If Sidney isn't coming back (and he is hopeful and skating now) the Penguins could turn and trade for Mason Raymond and he would be a fantastic fit. I believe Mason Raymond is also one of the most underrated possibilities of the deadline.
Other teams interested...Toronto(e2),Detroit (e2), Nashville (e3),

On Steve Ott
Langenbrunner's injury may mean Ott is on his way to St. Louis (e3), I also have heard the Kings with interest and this morning some others were saying he could be a plan B (or C or D with Toronto)

On Brian Rolston
Also heard the Blues today with Rolston...however I have also heard the Chicago mentioned...

Trade Deadline Rumor Chart is now live. Today I updated 24 players so far, and added 2 new players. The Rumor Chart is more or less my predictions as to where these players are likely to be moved based on all the conversations and rumors I hear through my research. Your $20 a year not only helps to keep the site going, it also gives you full access to the site and enables us to turn of most advertising and auto-play videos. Thanks for your amazing support!

On the Rumor Chart today I also updated...Nash, Chris Mason, Carter, Bobrovsky, Ruutu, Nabokov, Burish, Jack Johnson, Hemsky, Penner, and Parenteau...
