On Trouba for Hamonic (e4)....

I have been avoiding adding Jacob Trouba to the rumor chart for the mere reason that I have been told he was being considered the future of the Winnipeg blue line for good reason. There were those who believed Dustin Byfuglien would have to be moved to keep him and suddenly that all changed in the last month or so. And now Byfuglien is tied up for quite some time and Trouba may be the one on the move. I am hearing more and more that the Islanders and Jets are discussing a deal that would send Travis Hamonic and a prospect to Winnipeg for Trouba. One source noting, "Both teams need to make this trade now. Things have very much changed in Winnipeg." I am still not certain that this is a deal which can get done between now and the deadline or this turns into a deal at the draft but there is a very real fit for both squads.

On Mikkel Boedker..

Boedker is another new addition to the rumor chart. I realize many others have been saying he could be moved at the deadline for months now, but my sources close to the scene were still of the mindset that Arizona would find a way to keep him. They really like him. It now appears like they are exploring -- but he could still be extended in Arizona.

The Florida Panthers have the most interest.

On Jonathan Drouin...

Don't count out Winnipeg. At all. They have a ton of prospect and Trouba could (although I am not leaning that way at this point) be included. Andrew Ladd could be part of the deal as he would give the Bolts some much needed push and experience in a long playoff run.

On Yandle...

The Kings and Stars still. It looks like the Kings are being more aggressive.

On Polak...

The Stars may look to Polak instead because the Yandle price is getting too high...
