Wearing Green? How about Blue?

I’m an avid listener of SiriusXMN NHLRadio and I get a little cranky hearing hockey fans who can war their jerseys on Jersey Fridays getting shout outs from the morning show guys. See, I can’t wear a jersey to work. Even though we have casual Fridays, team logos are basically out as they could cause a rumble in the break room. Especially if I wore an Isles logo in front of my Ranger fan co-workers. (We take those arguments outside into the parking lot.)

However, this very smart and lovely young woman I know came up with a very neat line of tee shirts for New York sports fans that are unique and different. Her website is called wearNYBlue.com and there is a great looking tee celebrating the one and only, JT91. Check it out. http://www.wearnyblue.com/product/johnny-hockey

How cool is that? Yeah, yeah, there’s one there if you’re a Ranger fan too. If you have to. And for $20, this is mighty cool.

So Art Staple had an interesting Tweet today regarding Sunday's game against Pittsburgh:

There was loads of atrocious. That middle 6 forward group is going to be tough to fix

That's actually a very descriptive way of putting it. We've seen games like that before, and we've felt the same way. Then we get those wins in there that make us believe. I just wish there was some consistency.

David Ullstom has been a roster yo-yo this entire season. Now he's been put on the ferry back to Bridgeport. They have a game tomorrow and it will be interesting to see if Ullstrom is in the line-up. Bridgeport has also released Chad Costello from his contract and he is returning to the ECHL.

The Isles return to the practice rink tomorrow getting ready for their road trip and game against the Bolts on Thursday and the Panthers on Saturday. There was a thought that perhaps Poulin would have been returned to BPort so that he could play a game before heading out on the road trip. He wasn't returned today. It will be interesting to see if he plays either game this week.

Sticks & Steaks had some seats available. Did you reserve your spot? It was a good deal for $250 with the money going to the Isles Children's Charities.
