11:54 am: According to Art Staple, Jack Capuano is putting Brian Strait in for Lubo Visnovsky. Halak in net and they may or may not have sent Colin back on the bus. Just kidding. But Capuano didn't mention any other changes that would mean McDonald is in the line-up.

7 am: Making it four straight loses should not be an option as the Isles face the Flyers in Philly tonight. Perhaps the odds are with them this time. The Flyers have a five game winning streak and have not played since Saturday. That may be too long a rest.

The Isles did work on special teams yesterday at Ice Works, let’s see if practice makes perfect. I can only assume that Jaro Halak will be in net again tonight. Johnson should get at least one start in this three game road trip.

As Art Staple pointed out yesterday, Colin McDonald had another trip on the Bridgeport Shuttle. This is the third time he’s been called up. Is the third time a charm? Or is it three strikes? Just let the man play. It can’t be any worse than the last two games we’ve seen.

John Tavares needs to add to his score sheet totals and the fourth line, should Zeeker be healthy, needs to do what they do best. Three games lost and the Rangers win put the Isles only one point ahead of their cross-town rivals. Any more of a slide and fans will be lighting torches and calling for heads.

A win is crucial tonight.
