Will Fletcher Make A Deal

With the likelihood that the Wild will lose a very good defenseman in the expansion draft, does Chuck Fletcher swing a deal to send Jason Zucker to the Golden Knights, in order to protect another of the Wild dmen?

Zucker who grew up in Vegas, would be a natural draw for the Golden Knights. I couldn't help but read into a tweet from Carly Zucker, that alluded to knowing something but couldn't say.

Zucker would be a tough player to lose, but the Wild do have a stable full of young talented forwards on the cusp of cracking the lineup. That would make Zucker a more palatable loss for Fletcher, rather than to lose one of his talented young defenseman, who are just now entering the prime of their careers.

Also Charlie Coyle's and Nino Niederreiter's names have surfaced in trade rumors as well. Fletcher has said he is listening to all offers, in order to make this team better.

I believe Fletcher will make a deal or two before the expansion draft, and it may be something none of us expect. My hope is that it is significant in the return, that the direction of this team is shifted in the right direction.
