Chuck Fletcher had to make a roster move as Erik Haula and Jarred Spurgeon are set to return from injury, and that move was to waive Teemu Pulkkinen. Pulkkinen scored just one goal in the Wild's first eight games and found himself the odd man out. Zac Dalpe has played very well earning his spot in the lineup every night. Joel Eriksson's Ek is off to a flying start to his NHL career with two goals and five points in his first four games, making Pulkkinen the obvious choice as the player on the move.

The Wild are off to a very solid 5-2-1 start coming off two straight road victories, both Devan Dubnyk shutouts. The Wild took full advantage of the schedule catching the Bruins and Sabres in banged up shape, but to their credit the Wild took control of both games playing a much more complete game in both.

Dallas comes to town tomorrow as the Wild return to home ice after a 2-1-1 road trip. The Wild enter a very light portion of their schedule as they play just four games over the next 14 days.
