The Wild have recalled Zac Dalpe from Iowa. Dalpe had been out with since October with a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee. He had recorded a goal and two assists with the Wild prior to his injury, and looked very good at times in his fourth line role.

Chuck Fletcher also made another roster move with the signing of Ryan Carter to a two way deal through the end of the season.

Now back to work the Wild will ready themselves for three games in four nights beginning tomorrow night at home against Jonathan Quick and the LA Kings. Then off to Winnipeg Tuesday and Columbus on Thursday as the fast and furious final 23 games gets underway.

The trade deadline is now just 3 days away and the phone lines are burning up as teams look to make that move or moves to better position themselves for the playoffs or for the future, or both.

I know that Fletcher has said that the Wild would most likely not be in the market as his team has played well all season, but he cannot overlook the opportunity to better the club if the price and player are right.
