Hockey is upon us as the Wild prospects will take to the ice tomorrow for the Traverse City Prospects Tournament. The tourney features eight NHL Teams and their prospects. In addition to the Wild, St. Louis, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Carolina, Chicago, and the New York Rangers make up the eight participants.

The teams are broken into two divisions of 4 teams with the Wild in with Dallas, St. Louis, and Columbus. Tomorrow the Wild prospects will play St. Louis in the afternoon at 3PM, then take on Columbus Saturday at 6:30, then wrap up on Sunday afternoon versus Dallas at 2:30PM.

Tuesday will be the championship game and the 3 consolation contests featuring crossover matchups from each division with the top team in each vying for the title at 6PM on Tuesday evening.

The Wild Prospect roster looks like this:

Forwards

14 Joel Eriksson Ek
45 Dante Salituro
48 Domenic Commisso
49 Giorgio Estephan
52 Mason Shaw
54 Ivan Lodnia
57 Adam Gilmour
62 Joel Teasdale
65 Gerald Mayhew
67 Luke Kunin
73 Matt Bradley
74 Dmitry Sokolov
78 Jack Walker
81 Pavel Jenys
82 Justin Kloos

Defensemen
38 Gustav Bouramman
61 Jacob Golden
68 Kevin Davis
71 Carson Soucy
72 Brennan Menell
75 Braydyn Chizen
79 Hunter Warner
80 Artyom Minulin

Goaltenders
50 Dereck Baribeau
70 Adam Vay

A lot has been talked about with the Wild stable of prospects, combined with the fact they had no picks this year until the third round number 85 overall. Three of their seven, 2017 picks are playing including Ivan Lodnia their first selection, along with Mason Shaw and Jacob Golden.

Of course all eyes will be on Joel Eriksson Ek, Luke Kunin, Dmitry Sokolov, Carson Soucy, and Adam Vay, but the NHL is clearly a young man's game now and some of these guys are looking to open some eyes.

Hockey is here once again!!!
