Back at it for the Wild is the best medicine for a team that is in a funk. It is just a funk and the team is showing signs of coming out of it for sure. The results will come because great teams find their way. Bumps in the road will occur, and it is so easy to point the finger when times are tough.

How soon we forget when times were great that it seemed the Wild were invincible and they could win every night. That isn't reality for any team.

Talk to fans of every team and they will scrutinize their own teams much the same way that we Wild fans do with our team.

The point is the players are human and they make mistakes as well as amaze us with their tremendous talents. We live in a very black and white world that says there has to be a direct reason for every result.

Fortunately Bruce Boudreau and his staff don't share that same mindset. They compartmentalize and break things down to make the product better as they move forward.

Remember some of those wins during the Wild's 12 game winning streak, were not "Picassos" as Boudreau said many times. The same applies to the recent losses, they are not all "dog efforts" by the Wild either.

The peaks and valleys of an 82 game season can appear much greater or worse than they really are.

There are 12 games left for the Wild and after tonight just 4 of them on the road. The Wild play 6 games against non playoff teams. Yes, they need to get the results back in the win column, but their offense is too good and too balanced to not get better results, than they have been getting lately.

So off to Winnipeg for their final meeting of the season with the Jets. The Wild have taken the first 4 including the last two in Winnipeg. It is always a close game when the Jets and Wild meet, and this Jets team is not one to be taken lightly. They tend to play better when they play better competition.

The Wild do not need any more motivation, as they know they need to get the ship turned around as they head into the final 3 weeks of the season.

It's always Hockey Day in the State of Hockey!

Let's Play Hockey!
