The Wild head to Beantown tonight in search of their first road victory of the season. The Bruins won both games last year versus the Wild each by the same 4-2 score. The second game in St. Paul marked the end of the Mike Yeo era in Minnesota.

Bruce Boudreau was visibly upset after the Islanders game. He stopped short of running the bus over Darcy Kuemper, but he was not the only problem. Line four was a minus 3 in the game which is absolutely unacceptable.

The Wild are far too good a team to not get off to more consistent starts. They seem to let the opponent dictate the flow of the game and that is never a good sign. The team is now playing their 7th game of the season and we have still yet to see a full 60 minute effort. That needs to change and change quickly if they are going to compete in the ever tough Central Division.

Tonight the Wild need to get back to playing Wild hockey from start to finish. Solid in the defensive zone, quick outlets and strong offensive zone possession. The inconsistencies from shift to shift is head scratching material.

Expect a much stronger effort from Boudreau's team tonight with more pucks to the net. The Wild are still not getting the traffic in front of the opposing net which is limiting their opportunities to score. Too much looking and hoping and not enough making things happen.

Time to get the first road win tonight Wild!
