With arbitration dates set for next week, Mikael Granlund and Nino Niederreiter are set to get new deals. Will one or both get signed before the arbitrator has a chance to rule?

These are key deals for Chuck Fletcher as both Granlund and Niederreiter are integral pieces to the Wild offense. The Wild are looking to take that step to the league's elite and the only way that happens is with the youth of this team stepping up both the production and the leadership department. My

The core of Mikko Koivu, Zach Parise, and Ryan Suter is still intact, but the next generation of Wild leaders is here and must step up the game to unlock the true potential of this group. Jason Zucker, Charlie Coyle, Jonas Brodin, Jared Spurgeon, and Matt Dumba along with Granlund and Niederreiter are the new core that has raise the level to get the Wild over the hump.

New additions Tyler Ennis and Marcus Foligno will be counted on to join this group of twenty somethings to form the new look Wild core.

Chemistry is the biggest key to winning and the ingredient that has been missing with the Wild teams of the last five seasons.

The question is who in this twenty something core becomes the glue guy (s)?
