Team USA laid a huge egg in their World Cup of Hockey opening game, while Team Canada showed their dominance with a 6-0 victory over the Czech Republic.

Team USA coach John Tortorella made the decision to not dress Dustin Byfuglien.

The stories of Byfuglien and Tortorella concerning Dustin playing offense or defense need to be buried because either way Team USA is better with Big Buf in the lineup.

Note to Torts, Brandon Dubinsky looked like he was skating in mud the whole game. Every shift I saw Dubinsky all I could think was how Torts was rewarding his own guy, but not thinking what was best for Team USA. Dubinsky took two penalties and was a minus 1.

Kyle Palmieri or Dustin Byfuglien are better options for Team USA.
