Well now that is three straight wins for the Wild with all three needing extra time and last night requiring a shootout. That is now five straight Wild wins that have gone to the extra session, so the adjustments that Boudreau and staff have made are definitely working.

That said last night's win should be classified as a stolen two points. The Wild did not even show up in the first period, with the exception of Devan Dubnyk that is. But Dubnyk tweaked something on a save that he made against Matthew Tkachuk and according to Boudreau he was struggling but was able to keep it together enough to finish the period.

Dubnyk had an MRI today on his knee and we are awaiting those results. Either wau he will not play tomorrow and the Wild will make a move to either bring up Niklas Svedberg or Steve Michalek from Iowa.

Last night's game saw the Flames miss countless odd man rushes and some gaping wide open net opportunities allowing the Wild to get the game into OT and then ultimately to win in the shootout thanks in large part to Alex Stalock who stepped in for Dubnyk and outside of the Johnny Gaudreau flip was perfect in the shootout stopping Sean Monahan, Sam Bennett, and Matthew Tkachuk to preserve the win.

The points are great, but the Wild know they must get that effort up if they are truly going to continue the rise up the standings. They have the talent now it is a matter of putting the pieces together.
